Spring Veggies

added Monday, 20 April 2015 06:56

Spring produce is starting to arrive and we have a variety of organic fruits and vegetables that are showing up at the store. Items will vary, but we should be seeing some berries, carrots, summer squash, beans, tomatoes and greens popping up in the case. We also have our wheatgrass. Organic holdovers from the fall include russets, squash and sweet potatoes. Also, if there is something special that you may need, just let us know. We are happy to see if we can get it for you.

Weekend Wines

added Friday, 03 April 2015 08:35

The weekends are a great time to try a new wine. At Great Earth, we stock a variety of reds, whites and blushes--many from the Northwest. You don't have to bust your wallet, either. Most of our wines are priced around the $10 range, some less. If you're new to wine drinking or not sure what may go well with your meal, just ask. We love to help customers explore new varietals. We also carry a nice selection of sparkling wines that are just too good to only break out for a special occasion. Sparkling wines pair well with lighter, spring dishes like asparagus, chicken entrees and fish. Cheers!
