Great Earth Wine and Beer Tastings

Our selections are always changing as we seek out the best new wines from around the world.  These informal tastings are a great way to taste at you own pace, and discover new wines before you buy them.

Cost is $5 per person, paid at the door.  Your tasting fee includes 1 - ounce pours of each wine offered.

Unles otherwise noted, the informal tasting will take place from  5:30 to 8 p.m.  Attendees may arrive any time furing the scheduled hours with the last entry at 7:45 p.m. and the last pour at 8 p.m.  Twenty-one and over for wine and beer tastings.

2010 Madras Centennial Cellebration

The year 2010 will officially mark Madras's 100th birthday.  In peparation for this historic occasion, the city of Madras as convened the 2010 Madras Centennial Celebration Committee to plan the centennial, which will be celebrated throughout 2010 birthday, recognize its long and storied history, and honor the many organizations, businesses and individuals that contribute to our community.  Watch websites, the Pioneer and Chamber and Commerce, for news and events schedules

Breakfast is the first meal of the day.  The work is a compound of "break" and "fast," referring to the conclusion of fasting since the previous days's meal.


Searching for an alternative to your morning bagel, great earth is now serving breakfast on Sat. and Sun mornings.

great earth menu features fritatta with imported cheeses and fresh vegetables, free range eggs, and buttermilk wheat flour waffles.  Other dishes include stuffed french toast, a hearty breakfast scramble, creamed ham and freash baked cheese scones, and homemade granola.  Sides include fresh fruit, whole grain toast, apple smoked bacon, ham, chicken sausage links.
